Charlie B Counselman

Charlie B. Counselman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate located in the Morrisville, North Carolina area. Charlie specializes in meeting his clients virtually via tele-health to treat those looking for help with Depression, Anxiety, Men’s Issues, Alcohol and Substance Use Issues, Marriage and Relationships Issues, and Process Addictions. Charlie utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing Therapy, and 12-step Facilitation.

With over a decade of experience working in the Mental Health and Addiction Fields and having obtained a Master of Social Work degree from UNC-Chapel Hill's famed Clinical Social Work Program and a Bachelor’s Degree from Guilford College, Charlie has invested his time and energy in and has a passion for seeking Evidence-Based solutions to assist his clients.

Charlie was raised in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts, and has lived in North Carolina for over 20 years. He has worked and studied abroad in India and Southeast Asia and has extensive multicultural training and experience.
